Let Nature Live (La Naturen Leve, LNL)
is the central umbrella organization for individuals, local groups and organisations throughout Norway opposing the construction of onshore windpower plants. We have more than 3000 members.
LNL fails to see the rationale in ruining nature, complicating peoples’ lives with noisy turbines and disturbing wildlife – in a country where vast hydro power resources have secured renewable power supply for a hundred years.
We enjoy clean, renewable energy in abundance and we are important suppliers of electricity to a number of European countries. By simple means we’ll be able to continue doing so – without a single wind turbine. Nevertheless, our Government has decided to build a large number of onshore wind power plants all over Norway. At present, investors from Germany, France, Switzerland etc. stand in line to invest, from the county of Finnmark in the far north to Hedmark and Akershus in the south-east.
Unfortunately, the information you will find on our website is in Norwegian only. However, don’t hesitate to contact us if you want to find out more about LNL and how we work.
